My real name is Nikka and I'm 16 (man, I feel old). If you ask me whether the glass is half full or half empty, you'll end up having me thinking about it and be baffled by it, it's both dammit! And I believe in aliens. I am an obsessed LOTR fan with a large collection of LOTR merchandise. I won't mention every single item I own but I'll say that I am the proud owner of the one ring, and Legolas himself.. well actually the Legolas action figure.

Like numerous Orlando fans, I first came to know of Orlando's existence when seeing his character Legolas in Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. Sure I was impressed by his portrayal of Legolas, and of course, he is extremely good looking. Usually at this point I would have been interested for a while and then move on. But articles and other forms of media, have shown aspects of his personality that is both spontaneous and unique. Maybe it's because of his charm and sense of humour that makes him stand out. And he has a cute smile!

I also like the fact that Orlando has not yet gotten used to the fame and attention he is receiving. From what I've heard he is really nice to his fans, has no problem signing autographs, or at least gives a fan a smile. And whatever outfit he wears, whether it's in bad taste or not, he still looks good.

One thing is that although I'm a fan of Orlando, and a fan of Lord of the Rings that DOESN'T mean that I like Lord of the Rings because Orlando stars in it, or that I like Orlando because he's in Lord of the Rings, okay?? It really annoys me when people make that assumption >_<

I started this site on the 17th of March for a computer studies assessment task. I decided to do a site on Orlando, fast forward to a couple of weeks later, Bloombox is on the net! All the graphics on this site are designed by me using Photoshop 5.5 and recently 6.0. I am not exactly educated in the design department and learn by observing others and experimenting which is probably I am never satisfied with what I make, which I guess is kinda good, that'll make me try harder the next time. And in case you wanted to know, I got an unsactisfactory mark of 43 out of 50 for this project for reasons I'm not sure why.

Why I decided to do this site was not only to make my mark on the internet and publicise my admiration for Orlando but to contribute something of my own. It's not much yet but I'm getting there!
